Daycamp & Boarding Policies

Thank-you for choosing Poochie's for your dog's vacation. The experience your dog will have here is one of a kind. We promise to do our best to create a safe environment while your pooch is having the time of their life.

Boarding at Poochie's is All-Inclusive: You're pup will get at least 5 hours per day to enjoy the great outdoors with friends that are of the same age, size, and activity level. Our total facility is 7 acres, the boarding and daycamp dogs' play areas make up about 4 of those acres on pristine land filled with BIG Oaks, Pines, and Magnolias.
The great outdoors is where a dog wants to be whether it likes sitting in the shade and squirrel watching or chasing tennis balls or swimming in the pond. Poochie's has REAL grass for running, REAL dirt for digging, and REAL big hearts that love dogs and everything about them. There will be no extra charges for cuddling, play time, swim time, treat time, specific foods or medication administration, or anything special that dogs sometimes need outside of regular care. Requirements: Dogs must have vaccinations against Rabies, Bordetella, and DHPP. They also must be friendly and good natured toward other dogs and people.

Restrictions: Male dogs over 7 months must be neutered. No dogs that are sick, have fleas or contagious skin problems, or that are in heat may use the facility. No puppies under 4 months.

Daycamp Hours: Daycamp is available Monday-Friday, 7am-7pm. We are closed for lunch/naptime from 12pm-2pm. You must pick up your dog before 7pm. If your dog is not picked up by the time the staff leaves for the night, he/she will be boarded over night at the owner's expense.

**Please call ahead before bringing your dog to daycamp to ensure that there is space available, especially around holidays .

Boarding Hours: Boarding is available 7 days a week. The office is open for drop offs and pick ups Monday-Friday 7am-12pm and 2pm-7pm, and on Saturday and Sunday from 10am-4pm.

**We require that your dog have an exit bath before leaving, at an additional charge. Because your pooch will be at play outdoors (swimming, digging, etc.) they are guaranteed to get dirty and we would like for them to be clean when you pick them up. The cost is $10. You may choose from high quality deodorant, flea & tick, or oatmeal shampoos. Please inform us of the time you are picking up when you drop them off or give us a call on that day at least 2 hours ahead of your arrival. **When boarding, you are not required to bring any food or belongings with you. We have comfortable beds, stainless steel food and water bowls, and plenty of toys. If your pet has a bed, favorite toy, treats, or special food you are encouraged to bring it to make your dog's stay as close to home as possible though we are not responsible for lost or broken items.

**Our house brand of dog food is Purina Dog Chow. If your dog has a sensitive stomach, it is recommended that you bring your own food in a labeled container.
